Ngozi Limited Release

Introducing Red Bay Coffee's first dark roast limited release, the Ngozi from Burundi! This exceptional coffee comes from the Ngozi Province in Burundi, where the producer group Turihamwe Turashobora ("Together We Can!") is led by a dedicated team of women who are committed to quality and sustainability.

We worked with JNP Coffee, founded by Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian, a company that's deeply committed to empowering women and supporting coffee producers in Burundi. JNP Coffee has created programs like DushimeTM to help generate premiums for producer groups, which is why this coffee is so special.

The wet mill that produced this coffee was built in 2018 with the savings of women farmers who wanted a processing site of their own for quality assurance. The wet mill and quality team is entirely women-led and works closely with JNP's trained Q Graders on best quality practices and lot curation.

The Ngozi from Burundi is fully washed and processed with care, resulting in a clean, bright, and delicate profile. Featuring flavor notes of baked berries, raisinettes, and cocoa nibs.
