Dark Roast
Tasting Notes
Plum • Almond • S'mores
Bold without being overpowering, This Is America brings together deep chocolate richness with notes of ripe plum, toasted almond, and the nostalgic sweetness of toasted marshmallow and graham cracker. Roasted dark to develop a full body and smooth finish, it's a comforting everyday coffee with plenty of complexity.
About This Coffee
This Is America is sourced from smallholder farmers across Peru, where coffee grows along the eastern slopes of the Andes in the regions of Chanchamayo, Amazonas, and San Martín. These mountain landscapes provide ideal growing conditions, with warm days, cool nights, and elevations between 1,200 and 1,600 meters that help develop coffees with exceptional sweetness and balance.
The coffee is fully washed and carefully processed by producers on their own farms. As specialty coffee continues to grow in Peru, many farming communities are investing in improved drying methods that elevate consistency while preserving the character of each harvest.
Roasted to a dark profile, this coffee delivers a rich, chocolate-forward cup with caramelized sweetness, a full body, and a smooth finish that never becomes overly bitter. It's equally enjoyable brewed as a drip coffee, French press, or pour over.
