Decaf has a reputation problem and most of it is earned. The flavor drop between a regular cup and a decaf cup is usually severe. We worked to close that gap. Ocho Libre Decaf is a single-origin Colombian from Antioquia, processed with ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane, a method that removes the caffeine without stripping the bean's character. The result tastes like the origin it came from, dark chocolate, cane sugar, and ripe grape, and just happens to be caffeine free. Half Caff is for the third cup of the day. Half regular, half decaf, sourced from Indigenous Nasa farmers in Cauca through the CENCOIC cooperative, with plum, jam, and a pop of cola. Both roasted in Oakland. Both built to make you forget you are drinking decaf. |
